Reliable generation that's always on
PowerBlock is a power system for standby generation and participation in utility or RTO/ISO markets, incorporating proprietary switchgear, controls and monitoring software to result in a fully-integrated solution for customers’ energy needs. Moreover, the PowerBlock Tier 4 Final Genset is an ultra-clean modular diesel generation system that is flexible in capacity and has no federal run-time limitations or post-installation emission test requirements. With seamless paralleling, 24/7 monitoring and built-in redundancy, PowerBlock is reliable, resilient, and scalable to any and all power demands.
The PowerBlockG operates on a variety of natural gas fuels and liquid propane, utilizing ultra-clean generators to simultaneously provide power while leaving an energy footprint smaller than that of traditional systems. Combined with bi-fuel capabilities, allowing it to switch fuels on the fly under load, the PowerBlockG can increase the run times of on-site fuel capacity and substantially improve emergency preparedness.
PowerBlock3 is PowerSecure’s unprecedented stackable, modular power system, providing more energy capacity and transportation ease in a smaller footprint than any other system available. While utilizing all the same PowerBlock technologies, PowerBlock3 is reconfigured for maximum power density. Pre-assembled, pre-wired and pre-tested in ISO containers, it is ready for installation anywhere.
The PowerBlockM generator is a modular, movable solution that comes equipped with EPA-certified Tier 4 interim and final engines, as well as on-board diesel fuel and diesel exhaust fluid tanks that provide 16 hours of capacity. The PowerBlockM provides customers with a reliable source of power at any time and any location and can even be utilized to assist neighboring communities during emergencies.
Eliminating service gaps and outages
PowerSecure’s Auxiliary Battery System (ABS) serves to provide instant engagement to fill the momentary gap between utility outage and generator start, optimize microgrid resources and enhance customers’ returns on investment. PowerSecure’s Energy Storage Solution (ESS) is a custom-engineered, turnkey system similarly designed to compensate for the intermittencies associated with renewable energy generation.
Power distribution with voltage regulation
PowerSecure’s NexGear Medium Voltage Switchgear provides fully integrated distribution, protection and controls solutions for voltage levels ranging from 5kV to 38kV. Each project is customized to meet exact customer requirements and designed to exceed expectations at the most competitive price and lead time, as well as pre-wired for minimal on-site construction and configuration.
PowerSecure’s NexGear Medium Voltage Switchgear provides fully integrated distribution, protection and controls solutions for voltage levels up to 600V AC. Convert and monitor your power flow
Inverters are integrated into all PowerSecure microgrids in order to accurately regulate the power flow to and from site equipment. Double conversion inverters convert between alternating currents (AC) and direct currents (DC), while photovoltaic DC inverters convert and monitor PV system power flow into a microgrid. PowerSecure microgrids only utilize inverters from leading industry providers to maximize efficiency, flexibility, and lifetime for the various systems in which they are implemented.
Integrated renewable generation
Utilization of renewable generation sources means reduced carbon and greenhouse gas emissions for more sustainable long-term operation. PowerSecure’s extensive solar capabilities allow you to integrate solar energy with your advanced microgrid for an enhanced and more efficient distributed generation system.
